In Iizaka Hachiman Shrine, “Hachiman Shrine Annual Grand Festival ” is held every October, this festival is called “Iizaka Kenka?Fighting? Festival”.
The Iizaka Kenka festival is one of 3 major fighting festivals throughout Japan.
In the festival of climax “Miyairi”, six shrines that were carried a lot of young people will clash violently in order to prevent the “Miyairi” of each other’s shrines.
